Langkawi!

my 600th post! wow, haven't realise how long have i been holding on to this blog...it's probably been..3 or 4 years since i had it and i guess this blog still have quite some long way to go :))

anyway, as promised, my weekend getaway in langkawi. i thought i wasn't going to enjoy much because i was worried about my work. that week was just hectic and crap. i left for langkawi by flight after my calculation test on friday. shuuush, i skipped 2 lectures........ XD also that same week i handed in my report just 2 days before my test lol not only that i even had a presentation on tuesday which is one day after i came back from langkawi. slides were all ready but i didn't even practiced or anything like that lmao plus it's a group work. the only rehearsal we had was just an hour before the presentation. even that...we only rehearsed twice LOL but like i said, i guess it still went alright after all :D

moving on!! i took the flight with my 2nd sister while my parents and the rest of my siblings had drove down and took the ferry. l o l 6 hours journey. the ferry itself was almost a 2 hours ride ;~; we reached around the same time, and they'd picked us up after renting a car.

we checked in and left for dinner. headed to Kuah Town to try out this recommended restaurant but heck, that place was so crowded. tourists must've heard of this place too, like half of the crowd were foreigners. it's not even some fancy restaurant but apparently popular for their seafood. we changed our dinner venue to this other restaurant next door since that other restaurant was too packed...like there's other 10 tables before us. to our surprise, the food next door was really really good too omg the tom yum soup, talking about it now makes me salivate D:

intended to head to Cenang Beach but lolol stupid gps took us a whole way round and we ended up spending an hour in the car HAHAHA so we didn't go there in the end but stopped by at this "supermarket" instead. WOW CHEAP BEER IS CHEAP.

RM3.70 for a bottle of Hoegaarden was the cheapest i saw although we got it for RM5 at this supermarket but STILL...usually we'd get it at RM13-15 for a bottle :Q______

returned to the resort after that.

i love love love this resort. Berjaya Resort if you're wondering. services were great and the rooms were cosy and nice.

ohoho irrelevant photo.

lolol played card games and decided that losers should drink. guess what, no beer opener in the room. my brother tried using his hands but failed LMAO so my sister suggested using the toilet door instead. they succeeded eventually but it took them a good 10 minutes to do it hahaha.

that's basically how our room looked like. the king size bed is SO big it could fit 3 of us ;~; room's actually big enough for 4 people because the day bed is big enough to be a single bed too. we popped in to bed at about 3am.

island hopping next day!! weather was being lame in the morning. it was raining whole morning but plans still went on as usual. boat ride was fun although our faces were drenched ahahaha funny times.

Tasik Dayang Bunting or The Maiden's Lake. place is beautiful and has tonnes of monkeys too. these monkeys can be pretty scary omg. just don't eat or drink anything while you're on the way up to the tasik. they're not even afraid of humans and they'd grab anything edible from you. D:

you can actually swim there or go for the paddle boat. there's even free fish spa except that the fishes are cat fishes...which are quite big compared to those fishes you see in the reflexology spas in  the malls. nope, didn't want to try because they look scary :3

watched them feed eagles after vising The Maiden's Lake. the rain got heavier after that so we didn't hang out long.

stopped by this island. we can swim there too but again, the rain isn't allowing us to do much. decided that we leave early and go back to the resort to clean ourselves. lmao best lunch ever, KFC in the room nomnomnom

rested a little before we go out.

our chalet! we usually will have to take the shuttle tram to get to our rooms but you could also opt to walk if you want.

checked out the private beach. beautiful placeeeeeeeee. aahhhhh, so relaxing :((

bawww yes, half of the place were foreigners too. how can you not love beaches honestly?

durhurrrrrr that's us and me in my new hair. just got it cut recently ohohoohoooo

anywaaaaayyyyyyyyy, we went to this place....not sure what it's called but yes, a smaller version of sentosa's underwater world ahahah.

i'll just share some photos and talk less.

seals!! seals are so playful, they know people are watching them omg. so qt.

and there were penguins too. this particular penguin spotted me looking at him. he was actually standing behind the rocks but then slowly walked out and fjbasnjfhskdna you should watch the way he plunge in for a swim. so cuteeeeeee.

and then there were also penguins that reminded me of Madagascar. didn't even bother to remember their species ㅋㅋㅋㅋ because i'm lazy like that.

haiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. this fish looked so funny i just don't even.

lol i love my camera T_______T

and since we were at Cenang Beach already, we had dinner there at this place called....Orchid Ria? hehe, lovely lovely place! the place is pretty and food is okay too.

huhuhu, the lightings and everything are so pretty!!! we walked around Cenang Beach for a bit. there're shops and stalls and stuff. oddly, the shops only open at night.

played more when we got back to the room. had much fun laughing and drinking with my siblings. good times are good.

went for a swim next morning. how could you not swim when they have such nice pool absnfjsmaskfn we also went down to the beach and played in the sea for a bit before washing up.

ahh, sucks because i only stayed for 2 nights. had school on monday and i didn't want to miss it because my presentation was on tuesday. being paranoid as usual lol. so i took a flight back again with my 2nd sister hahah :3

showered and had buffet breakfast at the resort. man, i swear their services are awesome. i was sitting down having breakfast and their restaurant's manager came from the back and served me a complimentary cup of honey lemon tea and told me it's good for my cough. sobs, he actually heard me coughing.

haha the yacht parking lots. idk, i think some of it were on sale?

lmao, end of story y'all. there goes my 3 days 2 nights weekend getaway. hopefully mum gets to book it again next year. at least 3 nights!! omg took me hours to finish this post.

i'm gonna go watch One Million Star now. till then!!! byeeee.

p.s: you can tell i got a little bit lazy with typing at the end of the post hahahaha sorry :P
