being 21...not sure what that feels like to be honest, my life is pretty much the same except that i get a little bit more freedom and i'm getting old. lol.

back with my birthday post! :D

my sisters planned a surprise birthday party for me, and hehe, it was good to see my cousins and friends there! i had no clue about it at all until the day of the plan itself...everything felt fishy.

1. my friends on twitter (i.e @Sunnysanz and @jtyy23) lmfao. san was talking about how she changed her hairstyle for a friend and then jtyy suddenly LOLed at her.
2. my dad kept asking me why haven't i showered when it's 6pm already. my sisters told me that we were eating dinner together at 7:30pm, as in my siblings with their bfs. he kept pestering me for like 3 times.
3. after i get dressed, mum suddenly came in and check on what i wore. that is just WEIRD because she rarely does that.
4. my brother told me he was taking my camera because he had "dinner with his friends" i told him i wanted the camera too but he left so fast before i could negotiate with him.
5. and while in the car, i was thinking of the possibilities of a surprise birthday party for me but it was a 50/50 situation.

surprise party was still successful after all. hahaha i guess when you want to surprise me, you'll have to be really careful to make the day seemed like any other day. XD

to the people that made it happened, thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu and yes i ♥ y'all :)

lol, why am i not surprised that this is my sister's idea to pose with the doraemon lollipop. oh, hehe, these are my cousins! they invited a handful, and i was quite surprised with those boys coming too ahahah. can't invite the whole clan or the venue wouldn't fit.

made 3 wished and blew out the candles 8D cake was exceptionally good of course.

my god these people, lol i love them forever. they invited shaun and esther too!! WAS QUITE SURPRISED OKAY, i haven't seen them for 2 years :(( so it was good to see them again hhhhhehehehe.

seriously just thanks to all of you who made the effort to come and made all these happen keke.

Bao Is Baking?

to the man that had always been the backbone of the family,

Happy Birthday, Dad!

hah, guess what? i baked (again) today! i was going to make cupcakes for dad since it's his birthday today (5th May actually) but mum said why not make carrot cake cause dad likes carrot cake. so we made him carrot cake instead. haha. i tried the buttercream frosting recipe that i found on the net, it worked but the sugar can be cut down by half. YES, half is good. you don't want diabetes. mum's carrot cake recipe worked as well, she hadn't tried it though before this. wouldn't say i done this fully on my own, i mean, i would have turn the cake into a pile of zapped disaster if she didn't guide me. after all it's my 2nd time baking, i still need some assistance. heh. this is proof of me getting so unbelievably bored, resorting to baking had never been my top choice but i'm already doing this. what's going on?!

but anyways, the cake was great though icing was a little bit sweet for our liking and the cinnamon could be cut down as well. why am i talking like i'm a professional wtf.

i definitely didn't write the "happy" because "birthday" and "DAD" were written by me and there are such big differences. the "happy" is so.........wriggly. ta jie just don't have the patience.

i made 3 sides though, another side was made by ta jie. haha. :P a lot of space more for improvement, this was rather messy. but frosting the cake was definitely NOT easy. requires skills. i can't even make it....smooth, i gave up and ta jie finished the frosting job.

this is my dad, and he's 53 years old. (i think :/)

and this is my family. my brother looked so much like me we could definitely pull off as twins while both my sisters looked differently (that's what most people say, they always think we're FRIENDS). haha, and i had to take a pillow and cover because my garfield house tee looks horrible. :S

everyone at home is teasing me because i'm baking, wtf!

whether your name is rosario or not, it doesn't really matter. sometimes i think i'm delusional.

anyways, it was maebashi's birthday yesterday and san, siva and i, decided to bake cupcakes for her. that's right, 3 people that have zero ideas about measuring the flour baked cupcakes. we're lucky mum was home or else it would have turn into a flour fight anyways.

mum helped out with the batter and we did the icing fully on ourselves with just the recipe book as a guide. we wished we had beat the egg whites longer but the results weren't too bad, i should say it went pretty well for people like us. haha.

drawing the icing was a lot of fun though we think siva should have just frost the cupcakes and leave the drawing to us. the cupcakes would have turn out to be guess-what-i-drew-on-the-cupcakes contest.

that's her right there. she didn't even know siva and i was there because san said she had something to pass to her, we were like hiding behind the lorry trying to not let the fire put off whenever a car pass by.

trying to take a picture with the lights on was hard because there was breeze constantly blowing.

the cake that we ate after we finished cleaning up everything. just to try if the texture was good. turn out to taste pretty good. was moist and fluffy, the recipe was great. :)

i drew the cat and the bug as well, but the cat got destroyed when the milk carton fell on it (!!!!!!) and then we had to scrape off the icing and frost it and then sprinkle it with sugar stars.

i invented the cat face during highschool but laine and siva was the only 2 who could do it properly. lmao, mae had to practice everyday.

well uhm....i wished i knew what was happening either, but errr..... keep on guessing what's mae even doing. siva's one is guessable.

i tend to over lens blur thing but i like it lah. it's messy but oh well. at least it's better than the grainy photos before i editted them. haha, my phone camera was the only thing i had at that time! :) it was nice, everyone had fun although the weather was so humid yesterday. you tend to sweat at every nanoseconds and it's not even funny. oh well.





2 more days, and i'll be there. :)

Birthday Dinner!

so, 3rd of Oct was actually er jie's birthday and we had birthday dinner at Taman Rashna Restaurant. Joseph, James and Yi Szean (my cousin) was there too. not much to talk about, was just having dinner plus all the talking. well, you get what i mean lah.

and because i'm sooooo lazy to post up every picture because there were too many, i decided to make a collage out of them with Picnik.com :P i love that programme, although it's mainly basic stuff but sufficient for me.

that pig's actually a handphone holder! a gift from cousin Szean. :) and the 3rd picture's with Joseph, and lol, flowers from him. haha.

OKAYYY, i didn't know it'll appear to be this small. so, enlarge it if you want. :D

finally! a picture of 6 of us. :) it's been quite long since we took a picture with everyone in it, because it's always either er jie's not home or ta jie.

should have all used this collage form. so yeah, anyways, that person in the first picture besides my sister and i, is my gypsy-looking cousin Yi Szean. while that guy in blue polo is James and that gal in blue butterfly top(3rd pic) is ta jie, and that big guy in white tee is my brother Shen. haha.

OH, since dad booked a room, and then you know room comes with karaoke set, LOL! you know what happens next.

after dinner, my cousin asked if i want to join them at modestos centro later. i didn't know it was a surprise and i asked if all her friends were gonna be there too. was lucky er jie didn't hear us talking. so she didn't know her friends was gonna be there, she thought it was only the 5 of us.

there's other pictures as well, but those are their friends lah, haha, so no point putting up here also. :P wow, and shen DRANKK beer because most of the time he'd be the one complaining it's bitter, taste bad, bla bla bla... but THAT NIGHT! he drank 5 cups of beer! may not sound much, but it WAS a big step from him. lol, i've never see him drink that much. well, i think it runs in the genes that we get red after a while, because all 4 of us gets red when we drink. look at shen's face! red as an exploded tomato. haha, the reason why er jie's not red cuz she wasn't allowed to drink. remember she was recovering from dengue fever? yeap, doctor said it affected her liver so she didn't drink any that night, only coke. haha. while...MY FACE...i'm not drunkkkk! of course not lah okay, if you think 3 margaritas could actually make someone drunk, you'd be crazy. 8D

i've got a test on 15th and i kept thinking it's somewhere on wednesday. turns out to be a tuesday, i'll need to study soon. maybe later if i feel like it. :P

oh, and i've took pictures of my new school. will show it soon after i've uploaded them. hugeeeee school, takes at least 5 minutes to get to one class, no joke. :S
