Day 1 & 2; Bits of Seoul and Jeju Island.

hai guys!! i'm homeeee and finally writing posts about my korea trip. i'm going to separate it because there's a lot to write. lol actually i'm not sure if there's a lot to write but there's a lot of photos i want to share and even more later on fb. keke. so here it goes!!

DAY 1.

so we touched down at Incheon Airport at about 7:05am and lol, the first thing i bought from the mart is this particular banana milk. not even joking, it's the best banana milk ever. it may sound a bit disgusting to people who don't like banana but trust me, it tasted really really good. my sister don't like bananas but she loved this. haha. odd.

hahahaha, funny story right from day 1. you see this blur photo up there. lol, so my sis and i were sitting around waiting and then this korean man came over to us to ask us to help them take a photo, since we did it for them, we had asked him to take one for us too, lulz. it was so weird how he ran after he snapped it for us and when we checked the photo, it came out like this. i had forgotten to change the mode to auto focus lmfao. he must've felt bad that's why he ran away so quickly after that.

lol, the first thing we did was seagulls watching. it was bit scary at first but then it got better afterwards. haha. nothing much, but the wind was nice.

a lot of seagulls basically lol and they feed on prawn crackers hahahaha and they catch very well too. after taking the ship to Wolmido, we stopped by the war memorial museum. lmfao everyone was pretty half asleep and didn't even get a comfy nap on the plane because it wasn't very comfortable lol. the tour guide was telling us histories but tbh, i didn't really listen to him. i listened to half and then my mind shuts off automatically :P sorry.

after visiting the memorial museum, we headed to the namsangol hanok village. those local korean families are so recreational. they bring kids to places like these and spend time. lol, our kids here would probably be in front of the computer or even in the shopping malls.

not sure what is that, but she basically trying to walk and roll that steel ring with that stick she's holding. hahahaha idek how to tell you how it works.

and she's trying to throw the stick into those 3 holes. interesting :)

we left the hanok village after....an hour? lulz, not sure but yeah, i wished we had went to the namsan tower as well. it was just next door, but not in the itenary. when i go back to korea, i'm visiting the tower :D anyways, we left for Insadong after that. i'm not sure what event they were having but then suddenly a group of people started walking along the Insadong street and singing Arirang (which is like their patriotic song i think) i thought it was quite cool :DDDD

people of all ages basically. young and old. keke.

love this place omg. there's a lot of artsy stuff to look at and uhm, i realised that korea has got TONNES of cafes everywhere and the cafes are usually all packed. they really like coffee i guess.

we entered one of the alleys to see what was inside. lol it's all restaurants inside. small restaurants.

oh yeah, we flew in to Jeju on the same day too. asbdkasjldk so tiring, so many flights in one day. our flight to Jeju was in the evening around 5:25pm (wow i remember that so well) and the flight's about an hour (or 2) i think lol, that i don't remember.

finally, HOTEL. the first thing we all want to do is shower. absjdlahksd can you imagine, 7 hours of flight, then straight to all the visiting sites and then another flight. omg, that's almost 24 hours ewwwww. but lol, i was satisfied with the hotel. it's bit antique but all well maintained. i'm such a paranoid for toilets but if i say the toilet is fine, then the toilet is really fine.

the toilets in korea...omg, i am impressed. public toilets are CLEAN, no pee smell, no tissue paper flying, nothing of that sight. i peed quite peacefully there hahahaha.

lol, we are usually free at night but didn't really do much that night because we all needed rest, only visited gs25 (their convenience store) to get some junk food. i miss shopping around their convenience stores. it's so fun okay. like being all fickle and standing in front of the fridge for 10 minutes and then still cannot decide on what i what to drink.

DAY 2.

omg morning call at 7am, and then left for our journey at 8:30am. lulz, breakfast all the same for almost everyday. DNW SCRAMBLE EGGS FOR THE NEXT 10 MONTHS.

okay honestly, i forgot what national park is this already. i have very bad memories okay, so you have to forgive me. lol. love that place. very very scenic place! the sea is so damn clean and clear unlike our seas here....uhm..but yeah, it was very windy that day. so weather was A+ kekeke. idk, some people find scenic areas boring but i enjoy everything i see. going to korea just isn't all about shopping. i enjoy places like this as much as i enjoy shopping :)

lols, i look like some fat ass here but hahahaha okay who cares, i love this photo nonetheless. going holiday with my 2nd sister is the bestest because she takes care of a lot of things for me lmao, i sound like a baby okay but w/e who doesn't like to be pampered XD sorry.

omg absjdlhaksd who ever said wearing all colours was a good idea. spotted here near me and just had to pretend to take some nice ~photo~. pink hat, orange jacket, green top, blue pants and yellow slippers....REALLY? *0*

we didn't really climb all the way up because uhhh, hahahaha, no thanks. it'll be nice but i think my feet have its limits too.

me and my sister againnnn. we left for the tangerine farm after spending an hour-ish there at the park. don't let the photos fool you kay, those tangerines are fake because the real ones don't ripe until october or so. you can actually see the green ones which are the real ones. hahaha.

looks real no? anyways, we bought some chocolates there. souvenirs souvenirs souvenirs! 8)

did nothing much there though. after that we visited this place..idk what it's called but it's basically a place for tourists to learn more about the jeju villagers and how they used to live around :) pretty interesting really. do you know that there's more women than men in Jeju? and women does all the work around and men just laze around like kings wtf.

that thing you see over there is like their god to protect their homes. it comes in a pair and apparently if you want to get a baby boy, you touch its nose and if you want girl, you touch its ear and if you want wealth, you touch its tummy. hahahaha lol obviously everyone wanted wealth.

we visited Cheonjiyeon waterfalls next. another scenic area. seriously, the streams in korea are very clean and there're very little rubbish bins around in korea too because they want people to throw their own rubbish that they brought but obviously, you will have to be responsible to be able to do that because uhh, if anything like that happens in malaysia, you only see more rubbish around like as if there aren't enough even with the existence of hundreds of bins.

so pretty omg absjdlhkask love it.

the main fall. even prettier omg.

after spending like about an hour there, we left for Yongduam rocks. hahaha, see this photo below. lulz. i was actually snapping the photo of that Jeju football stadium and i didn't realise that that 2 korean boys were watching. my sister saw and she quickly asked me to take a photo of them. the guy in red actually peaced for me but i was too slow. that guy with pink scarf was actually looking into my camera omg both of us loled so bad when we zoomed in the photo hahahaha. the people in the bus were wondering but we couldn't care less lmfao.

so...apparently it's supposed to look like a dragon's head but then as time goes by, water hits on it and the shape changes. nothing much but again, scenic place. water's very very blue! :)

and this dude is having the time of his life jumping into the water all over again for idk how many times haha.

you'll know how hot it is when you look at that photo. ohmygah, really. it's so waaaaarmmmmm.

and abdldaksbjd those kids on excursion wearing the cutest uniforms EVER. so fucking adorable okay. they were wearing like sandals and socks together hahaha. they saw me taking photos of them and they were
all askdaskdjask god knows what they were bitching about. XD

dinner after that and then back to hotel. since it was early, both of us went walking around the town. didn't even know there were so many shops until we crossed this petrol station. fun fun fun just walking around! and this is only in jeju. wait till i get to seoul....lol, nothing beats seoul's shopping. it's...heaven. not cheap, but all still a heaven because everything is so pretty.

settled down at Tom N Tom's Coffee. like Starbucks but just different name. keke, we tried this ice dessert. there's red beans under the gelato and fruits. VERY NICE. oh and you know, the shops in jeju closes at 11:30pm wtf.

we went back to the hotel at around...11-ish? or 1am? omg i don't remember. HAHAHA I REMEMBER MYSELF CHECKING OUT LUCIFER ALBUM. fast internet is fast. bless my corbycat, nokia phone and lulz, the ipod of course. i was happy to preview even that much because i thought i wasn't getting any shinee in that 7 days. but chyeaaaah, back to my post, jeju was fun fun fun. only spent 2 nights there! so yeap, we left the next day :(

i'll continue my trip on the next post. impossible for me to write everything at once. the photos itself are tiresome. hahahaha, like i said again, i'm not sure who reads this but i'll write it so i can read it again some time later :)

goodnight.
