i'd just watched it this afternoon, and i think i have to blog about it. :D:D i LOVE the movie. everything about it is so amazing, the casts, the music, the way it's filmed. of course, if you're the type of people who thinks too much after watching a movie, i.e. "a kid's lost and no one called the police", "yeah, a fruit vendor is willing to give the boy some money, right..", "how come there's no procedures taking place when he's enrolled into the school" and all that TINY issues people picked out from the movie, you might as well not watch it. it's a movie, it's only supposed to pick out important scenes. at most, the longest movie would take 2 hour half. this movie's about 2 hours. so i guess there's no much space for unnecessary scenes, it'd be too draggy i reckon.

August Rush's an urban fairy tale movie with of course, fairy tale elements. about how this boy, a musical prodigy, separated from birth parents and was sent to an orphanage. someone so enthusiastic with sounds, he finds music in everything and anything. he believes that he can somehow, find his parents, with music.

and to be honest, i was crying at the end of the movie, not because it's sad. it's just how i feel, i don't even know how to describe what i was feeling. ah, the rhapsody at the end of it(you'd love it, if you like classicals), how the music blends in and how the movie was being filmed, i thought everything fitted well. i'm definitely watching it again on the tv, i watched it earlier on computer, so the sound system wasn't really good.

this is definitely my type of movie. i usually don't blog about a movie, unless i really really REALLY love it and then again, it's always about personal preference. i don't know about you, but i'm definitely giving a thumbs up for this. you might find it boring, slow, and all that, but well, go give it a watch if you have the chance to. i'm not sure if it's a movie for everyone because this movie didn't reach our cinema, and this came out in 2007. haha, i'm only saying this because i have weird taste in music and not many likes my selection of music, so it might work just the same for movies, who knows :P

oh wells, 5 stars from me. :)
