FIRST DAY OF CLASS/INDUCTION
after being left alone by my parents, i was led by this lady to the video conferencing room(or something like that, can't be arsed to initiate myself to remember) where i was supposed to be at for briefings/orientation and all that things you do on the first day. i wouldn't say i wasn't nervous on the way to school but i did try to make myself calm and not screw up anything. of course, i was just comforting myself, there wasn't anything for me to screw up anyways. i hate having to find seats without a friend with me because naturally, i always take a seat which isn't occupied on the right or left. okay, you can call me "unfriendly" but that's how i work about.
seeing new faces, i started turning my head around hoping to find someone i know, though knowing that chances are slim. no familiar faces, i told myself it's alright i'll get to know a friend eventually by end of this briefing. as bored as i could be, smsing san(iloveyou) killed my time definitely. haha, that's when i realised i missed taylor's. okay, not the classes but just the companies and friends i had. my class had only, 19 students if i'm not mistaken. briefings were combined with students from foundation of commerce. half of them are international students.
i haven't got to know any of my classmates yet, just one which i met in a rather funny way. she was sitting on the same row but just at the end of the row while i was nearly at the center of the row. i turned my head to her and she smiled at me. so that was how we met, petite sabahan girl, emma was her name if you were wondering. okay her name doesn't stop there, it was longer than that because (i think) she's a bumi. we hung out most of the time, getting lost and walking all around the school. big library, a very unnecessary swimming pool which we CAN actually use but i doubt anyone uses it since it's in the middle of the school, 2 cafeterias and soon adding another one, that makes 3 later on, huge labs, squash courts(wtf), badminton courts, basketball courts, and all that misc. okay, the building worth 150 million, so that explains why we get so many facilities which i'm quite convinced that i won't be using it anyways.
we have a few bunch of locals, only 3 students aging 18, and the rest are 19 years of age. a pair of twins from Pakistan which both wore the same shirt, same jeans, same shoes, same glasses and had the same type or hairstyle, one guy from uzbekistan(if that's even how you spelled it), one guy from the uk, one guy from mongolia and another from zimbabwe. yes i know, mixed nations. hopefully they're all nice people. i want to get lucky again.
nothing much for now. OH, my schedule is pretty flexible for first sem since we only have 3 subjects for now.
maybe i'll post up pictures, who knows.
till then,
cheerio mates!
